The Opti PSLF19-1U-B 1U 19-inch rackmount illumination panel is a specialized lighting solution designed for standard 19-inch server racks and network enclosures. Featuring a compact 1U height form factor, this equipment integrates seamlessly into existing IT infrastructures to provide functional illumination inside server cabinets, data centers, and telecommunication rooms. It is engineered to assist technicians and network administrators by improving visibility during installation, routine maintenance, and cable management tasks within dark or enclosed rack environments.

Advantages

This rackmount illumination panel offers a reliable way to enhance workspace visibility inside professional IT cabinets without taking up valuable rack depth. Its standard 19-inch width and 1U form factor ensure effortless installation alongside other rackmount equipment, patch panels, and server hardware. By providing direct internal lighting, it simplifies equipment inspection, hardware swaps, and troubleshooting processes in data centers and server rooms where ambient lighting is often insufficient.

Suitable for

• Illuminating the interior of 19-inch server racks and network cabinets
• Improving visibility during maintenance and hardware installations in data centers
• Assisting technicians with cable management tasks in dark server rooms
• Integrating into professional IT and telecommunication rack infrastructures

When it may not be suitable

This illumination panel is not designed to serve as primary room lighting or for use outside of standard 19-inch server racks and enclosures. It may also not be suitable for non-standard rack depths or enclosures that lack available 1U mounting space.

Key specifications

• Designed for standard 19-inch server racks and enclosures
• Form factor height of 1U
• Professional IT and data center grade construction

How to use

Mount the illumination panel securely into any available 1U space within a standard 19-inch server rack or enclosure using standard rack screws and cage nuts. Ensure the unit is properly positioned where internal visibility is most needed, typically above or below critical patch panels or high-density equipment. Connect the unit to a compatible power source according to standard rack power distribution guidelines before operating.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify that your rack or enclosure has a spare 1U space available
• Confirm that your cabinet is a standard 19-inch width format
• Assess your internal rack lighting requirements and power availability

Usage recommendations: Install the illumination panel in a position that minimizes glare and maximizes light coverage over the most frequently accessed components within the rack. Routinely check the unit during standard maintenance intervals to ensure optimal operational reliability.
