Projection Screen Optoma DS-9106MGA 2.69 m 16:9
The Optoma DS-9106MGA is a manual projection screen with a 2.69 m (106") diagonal and a native 16:9 aspect ratio. The screen uses a high-quality four-layer matte white fiberglass fabric with PVC microdots on the outer surface to produce a wide, uniform 160° viewing angle and accurate image reflection. The casing is constructed from a single extruded aluminium alloy for enhanced rigidity and smooth operation. The material is mildew resistant, dimensionally stable and certified by the Image Science Foundation (ISF) for colour and contrast performance.
The fiberglass matte white fabric offers high resistance to temperature, fire, moisture, deformation and stretching while remaining free from curving. PVC microdot infusion improves image uniformity and reflectivity. The single-piece aluminium case increases structural integrity and ensures smoother screen movement. A self-locking mechanism allows the screen to be fixed at any pulled-down position, and a controlled retraction system returns the fabric smoothly into the housing in around eight seconds to reduce the risk of damage.
Mount the screen using the supplied L-shaped brackets for wall installation or the supplied hanging brackets for ceiling suspension; brackets can be positioned anywhere along the case and allow horizontal adjustment and levelling via screw adjustments. To lock the screen at a desired position, pull the fabric down and hold for three seconds until the self-locking mechanism engages. To retract the screen, pull down lightly to release the lock and release the fabric; the controlled retraction will guide the screen back into the casing in approximately eight seconds.
For best colour accuracy from the ISF-certified screen material, use with a projector that has been ISF-calibrated for your room and lighting conditions. Avoid exposing the fabric to prolonged direct sunlight or high humidity to preserve material stability and image quality.
