External 2.5" HDD/SSD Enclosure ORICO DDL25-C3 USB-C 5Gb/s — black
ORICO DDL25-C3 is a compact 2.5" HDD/SSD enclosure that converts internal SATA drives into an external USB-C portable drive. The black aluminium-and-plastic housing supports SATA 2.5" HDDs and SSDs and connects to host devices via a USB-C interface with up to 5 Gb/s transfer speed, enabling convenient data backup, file transfer, and expanded storage for laptops, desktops and mobile use.
The enclosure offers tool-free installation and a compact, lightweight design that makes it easy to carry. USB-C connectivity with 5 Gb/s transfer rate provides fast data access for SATA SSDs and HDDs, while the metal casing helps to dissipate heat during extended operation. Its plug-and-play compatibility with common operating systems simplifies setup without requiring additional drivers.
Open the enclosure according to the housing design, insert a 2.5" SATA HDD or SSD into the SATA connector, and secure the drive as instructed by the product design. Close the enclosure and connect it to a computer or compatible device using the included USB-C cable. The enclosure is bus-powered, so no external power supply is needed; the host system should detect the drive automatically. For first-time use with a new or blank drive, format the drive in the operating system to the desired file system before storing data.
Use the enclosure on stable, well-ventilated surfaces during prolonged transfers to support heat dissipation. Avoid exposing the unit to liquids, extreme temperatures or physical shocks. For secure data handling, perform regular backups and safely eject the drive from the operating system before disconnecting the USB-C cable.
