Wall switch Ospel ŁP-4U/m/18, silver, IP20, 250V AC input, 10A output, 71×71×40 mm
Ospel ŁP-4U/m/18 is a silver wall switch intended for residential and light commercial electrical installations. The unit is rated for alternating current up to 250 V and a nominal output current of 10 A. With IP20 protection and compact dimensions of 71×71×40 mm, this screwless-clamp switch fits standard mounting boxes and is designed primarily for controlling lighting circuits and other small loads where indoor protection against solid objects is sufficient.
The switch combines a compact form factor with straightforward electrical characteristics that suit common household and office applications. Screwless clamps simplify wiring and reduce installation time while the silver finish provides a neutral appearance that integrates with most interior styles. The IP20 rating makes the device appropriate for indoor, dry locations where basic protection against fingers and large objects is adequate.
Turn off power at the distribution board before installation. Connect supply live and switched live conductors to the switch terminals following local wiring regulations and verified wiring diagrams. Use the screwless clamps to insert stripped conductor ends securely; ensure conductors are fully seated and that no bare conductor is exposed outside the terminal. After wiring, mount the device into a compatible flush box and secure the front plate. Restore power and test the switch operation with the intended lighting or load.
Install this switch only in indoor, dry environments consistent with its IP20 protection. Verify that the connected load does not exceed 10 A and matches the contact type (10 AX). For safety, installations should comply with local electrical codes and be performed by a qualified person when required.
