Tunnel tent Outwell Denver 5 — 5-person, green, 320×545 cm, height 210 cm, fiberglass poles
The Outwell Denver 5 is a five-person tunnel tent designed for family and group camping. It uses the PowerTec pole system for improved structural strength and features an integrated, dimmable Outwell Light System (USB-C power source not included) built into the living area. The tent includes a flexible front canopy with roll-back sides, mesh panels in both doors for ventilation and insect protection, and a sewn-in waterproof groundsheet for dry, comfortable use.
PowerTec square pole segments deliver increased stiffness and stability compared with conventional poles, helping the tent perform better in wind and varied weather. The integrated Outwell Light System provides warm, adjustable lighting to create a bright interior ambience while Dark Premier bedrooms and mesh ventilation support comfortable sleep. Practical features such as double-front zips, mesh-backed doors, internal storage pockets and a durable polyethylene ground cloth add convenience and protection on site.
Because the tent is a roomy tunnel design with a sewn-in groundsheet and several structural poles, it is relatively heavy (approximately 25.7 kg) and packaged in a sizable bag; it may not be convenient for ultralight backpacking or pack-and-hike trips. The Outwell Light System requires an external USB-C power source, which is not included.
Pitch the tunnel tent on a flat, cleared surface and lay out the sewn-in groundsheet. Assemble the PowerTec poles and insert them into the corresponding sleeves or clips to raise the main structure, then secure guy lines and pegs for added stability. Connect a USB-C power source to the integrated Outwell Light System to use the dimmable interior lighting. Use mesh-backed doors and the roll-back canopy to manage airflow while keeping insects out, and store small items in the internal mesh pockets.
For best stability, tension the guy lines and peg the tent on all provided points; use a suitable USB-C power bank or solar generator to power the Outwell Light System and choose a sheltered pitch in strong wind.
