The OWC miniStack STX is a compact HDD/SSD enclosure designed to expand storage and connectivity for desktops, notebooks, and tablets. Sized to complement the Mac mini, it supports a universal 3.5/5.25" SATA drive bay plus an NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD slot, providing flexible dual-drive configurations. Three Thunderbolt (USB-C) ports enable connection to a wide range of Thunderbolt and USB devices while delivering up to 60W power for connected notebooks. The enclosure is finished in black and connects via USB Type-C.

How to use

Install a 3.5/5.25" SATA drive into the universal drive bay and insert an NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD into the M.2 slot according to the enclosure's installation instructions. Connect the miniStack STX to your computer using the supplied or compatible USB-C/Thunderbolt cable; the three Thunderbolt ports allow daisy-chaining of additional devices. Use the SATA bay for Time Machine or regular backups and the NVMe slot for active projects requiring high bandwidth.
