The unit supports daisy-chaining multiple ThunderBay 8 enclosures and includes drive trays labeled for easy identification, a locking front panel, and a security slot on the rear for physical protection.

How to use

Connect the ThunderBay 8 to a Mac or PC using a Thunderbolt 3 cable and configure your RAID volumes with the included SoftRAID software to select speed or redundancy according to your needs. Use the additional Thunderbolt 3 port to daisy-chain a display or other peripherals, or to connect additional ThunderBay 8 enclosures for expanded capacity and throughput.
