Motherboard PALIT Asrock B760M-HDV/M.2 — Intel B760, LGA 1700, micro ATX, DDR5, M.2, 2.5Gb LAN
The PALIT Asrock B760M-HDV/M.2 is a micro ATX motherboard based on the Intel B760 chipset with an LGA 1700 socket. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors and accepts DDR5 memory across two DIMM slots up to 96 GB. The board includes high-speed storage options with PCIe Gen4 x4 M.2 and SATA III ports with RAID 0/1/5/10 support, integrated 2.5 Gb Ethernet for faster networking, multiple USB ports including a rear USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, and three display outputs (HDMI, DisplayPort, D-Sub) to suit compact desktop and home or office PC builds.
The motherboard implements a robust multi-phase power design and quality components for stable CPU power delivery, supporting DDR5 XMP and EXPO profiles for straightforward memory overclocking when using compatible modules. Onboard PCIe Gen4 M.2 support enables faster NVMe storage performance while the Dragon 2.5 Gb/s LAN delivers enhanced network throughput compared with standard gigabit Ethernet. Integrated RGB headers and addressable headers allow synchronization with compatible lighting accessories. The board also provides flexible connectivity options including a dedicated M.2 (Key E) slot for Wi‑Fi modules and an Auto Driver Installer to simplify initial driver setup.
Install the motherboard into a compatible micro ATX chassis and mount the LGA 1700 CPU following the processor manufacturer’s installation guidelines. Insert DDR5 DIMMs into the two memory slots and, if desired, enable XMP or EXPO profiles in BIOS to activate pre-tested memory overclocking. Connect storage devices to the M.2 socket(s) and SATA ports as required, and attach the power supply connectors, CPU cooler, case fans, and front panel headers. Use the M.2 (Key E) slot if adding a Wi‑Fi module. After initial assembly, power on the system and use the ASRock Auto Driver Installer (preinstalled LAN driver may assist) to install or update chipset and device drivers, then configure BIOS settings such as boot order and RAID if using multiple drives.
For stable performance, use quality DDR5 modules that support Intel XMP or AMD EXPO profiles and ensure the CPU cooler and case airflow are adequate for your processor choice. When using high-speed PCIe Gen4 M.2 SSDs, confirm the drive is installed in the appropriate M.2 slot to maximize bandwidth. Update the BIOS and drivers after first boot to ensure full compatibility with 12th–14th Gen CPUs and recent memory modules.
