Product information

Description

The Panasonic LUMIX GH5M2 kit includes the hybrid mirrorless camera body and a 12-60mm LUMIX zoom lens. It is equipped with a 20.33MP Live MOS sensor with anti-reflection (AR) coating, pre-installed V-Log L, USB Power Delivery support and wireless live streaming via RTMP/RTMPS. The camera records 10-bit C4K/4K video up to 60p/50p, offers Dual I.S.2 stabilisation and provides a maximum still image resolution of 5184 x 3888 pixels.

Advantages

The GH5M2 combines high-resolution stills and advanced video features in a single compact body. Pre-installed V-Log L with 12 stops of dynamic range enables flexible colour grading workflows. Built-in USB PD charging and power supply support extended shooting sessions, while wireless RTMP/RTMPS livestreaming via the LUMIX Sync app allows direct streaming from the camera. AR-coated sensor glass reduces flare for cleaner highlights, and Dual I.S.2 offers up to 6.5 stops of shake correction for stabilized footage and images.

Suitable for

  • Live streaming events, presentations and remote broadcasts
  • Hybrid photo and video content creators, vlogging and social media production
  • Documentary, interview and run-and-gun video shooting
  • Studio and on-location video work requiring log recording for post-production
  • Photography in mixed or backlit conditions where flare suppression is important

  • Weight (approx.): 647 g (camera body and typical kit configuration may vary)

How to use

Attach the supplied 12-60mm LUMIX lens and power the camera using the included battery or via the USB Type-C port with a USB PD compatible adapter. Select still or video mode on the camera dial and adjust exposure settings, frame rate and recording format as required. For log recording choose V-Log L from the picture profile menu to capture a wide dynamic range for post-production. To livestream, install the LUMIX Sync app on an Android or iOS device, connect the camera to the app and start an RTMP/RTMPS stream following the app instructions.

Bridge cameras 'bridge the gap' between the low-end compact and high-end professional (SLR) cameras. Also MILCs populate this mid-segment by combining the larger sensors and interchangeable lenses of DSLRs with the live-preview viewing system of compact cameras.
