Night vision riflescope attachment Pard N with integrated rangefinder (model 443-058)
Pard N with integrated rangefinder (model 443-058) is a front-mounted night vision riflescope attachment that converts a daytime optic into a night-capable sight. The unit attaches to the front of an existing riflescope to provide electronic image intensification for low-light observation and an integrated distance-measuring function for quick range estimation. The design supports hunting, tactical observation and low-light shooting where increased visibility and on-the-spot distance information are required.
The Pard N attachment provides night observation without replacing a primary daytime optic, preserving zero and daylight functionality while adding night capability. The integrated rangefinder delivers immediate distance readings to aid in holdover and shot planning. As a front-mounted module, it is compatible with a wide range of daytime scopes and is designed for quick installation and removal. The unit’s combination of image intensification and electronic distance measurement simplifies target acquisition in low-light environments.
The Pard N front-mounted attachment is intended to convert daytime optics for low-light use; it is not a standalone riflescope. If a shooter needs a dedicated dual-purpose day/night scope with integrated daytime reticle features or advanced ballistic computing built into the primary optic, a purpose-built day/night riflescope may be more appropriate. Also, environments with total darkness may still require active infrared illumination or alternative night-vision technologies depending on required identification ranges.
Mount the Pard N attachment to the objective end of a compatible daytime riflescope following the manufacturer’s mounting instructions to ensure secure alignment and retained zero. Power the unit and allow any image-intensifier circuitry to initialize before use. Use the integrated rangefinder to obtain distance readings to visible targets prior to making holdover adjustments. When shooting, confirm alignment with the host scope and verify that the optical axis remains consistent after attachment and removal. Remove the unit for daytime use if desired to restore the original optics’ field of view and performance.
For optimal results, verify mechanical fit and optical alignment on your riflescope before field use, test the rangefinder at known distances to confirm consistency, and practice target acquisition in representative low-light conditions. Consider carrying spare batteries and, if operating in complete darkness, pairing the unit with appropriate IR illumination when identification ranges exceed the image intensifier’s capability.
