The PATCHBOX CONE46OS211 is a 2.5 m fibre optic cable with LC connectors on both ends, designed for high-speed data transmission in networking and data centre environments. It uses OS2 single-mode fibre and is suitable for rack-mounted modular Patchbox systems or standalone fibre connections where reliable, low-loss links are required.
This 2.5 m LC–LC fibre cable provides single-mode OS2 performance with low attenuation and consistent signal quality. The LC connectors ensure compact, high-density terminations compatible with modern network equipment. The cable is compatible with PATCHBOX modular cassette systems and can be exchanged quickly within a frame, simplifying installation and maintenance.
Connect each LC connector into the appropriate LC adapter or port on your patch panel, cassette or network device, ensuring clean endfaces before insertion to minimise loss. Route the cable along existing fibre management paths to avoid sharp bends and secure it to prevent strain. When used with a PATCHBOX frame, insert or swap cassettes following the manufacturer’s modular procedure for hot-swappable installs.
Inspect and clean LC connector endfaces with suitable fibre cleaning tools before every connection. Maintain minimum bend radii as specified for single-mode OS2 fibre and avoid mechanical stress; store spare lengths in loops to prevent kinking.
