PERFECT Aqua Natura purple aquarium gravel is a decorative substrate designed for freshwater and marine fish tanks. With a pebble size of 8-10 mm and a convenient 2 kg package, this gravel helps create visually striking aquascaping designs while providing a safe and stable foundation for your aquatic environment.

Advantages

This purple aquarium gravel offers a vibrant and unique aesthetic enhancement for various aquascaping styles, allowing hobbyists to create personalized underwater landscapes. The carefully selected pebble size ensures proper water circulation through the substrate while remaining comfortable for bottom-dwelling fish and safe for delicate aquarium inhabitants. The inert nature of the material means it does not alter water chemistry, providing a stable habitat for both fish and plants.

Suitable for

• Freshwater aquariums and community fish tanks
• Marine and saltwater aquarium setups
• Aquascaping and creative underwater landscape design
• Nano tanks and specific decorative accent areas

When it may not be suitable

This gravel may not be suitable for aquariums housing fish species that require a fine sand substrate for burrowing or natural filtering behaviors. Additionally, the 2 kg quantity is primarily designed for smaller tanks, nano setups, or localized accent zones, meaning larger aquariums will require multiple packages to achieve adequate coverage.

Key specifications

• Product type: Decorative aquarium gravel and substrate
• Color: Purple
• Grain size: 8-10 mm
• Package weight: 2 kg
• Application: Freshwater and marine aquariums

How to use

Before placing the gravel into the aquarium, rinse it thoroughly in clean, lukewarm water to remove any dust or residue resulting from transportation. Distribute the gravel evenly across the bottom of the tank to the desired depth, creating slopes if desired for aquascaping effects. Gently pour water onto the substrate, using a plate or plastic wrap to diffuse the flow and prevent clouding the water.

What to consider before purchase

• Calculate the required volume of substrate based on your aquarium dimensions and desired depth
• Verify compatibility with the specific burrowing needs of your fish species
• Consider the visual contrast between the purple color and your existing tank decor

Usage recommendations: Rinse the gravel thoroughly before initial placement in the aquarium to maintain water clarity. Monitor water parameters regularly during the initial setup phase to ensure a stable environment for aquatic life.
