The Petromax ft6-t Dutch oven (5.5 L) is a cast-iron pot designed for versatile cooking at home, on the stove or outdoors over open fire and charcoal. The pre-treated seasoned finish allows immediate use without initial seasoning. The lid has a raised edge for placing embers or coals, enabling even heating from all sides; the upturned lid can also be used as a pan. Built-in details such as a sturdy carrying handle and a thermometer hole simplify handling and temperature control. The ft6-t model has a capacity of approximately 5.5 litres and is intended for meals for about 4–8 persons. Accessories available for this model include a lid lifter, transport and storage bag, care conditioner and dedicated cleaning utensils, plus trivets for baking without burning.

How to use

Place the Dutch oven on a stove, in an oven or over coals or open flame. Add ingredients and regulate heat as required; because of the cast iron’s heat retention, lower temperatures and longer cooking times often produce the best results.
