Compression fitting PHANTEKS Glacier M-F G1/4 CHROM swivel — PH-RA_CR_MF
PHANTEKS Glacier M-F G1/4 CHROM is a straight compression fitting designed for custom PC liquid-cooling loops. It features a male-to-female G1/4" threaded connection with a chrome finish and a swivel mechanism that allows rotation between the male and female ends. The fitting is intended to join soft tubing to water-cooling components while reducing torsion on tubing runs and simplifying installation and alignment in compact systems.
The chrome-plated body provides corrosion resistance and a polished appearance while maintaining compatibility with standard G1/4" water-cooling threads. The swivel function permits rotational adjustment without loosening the entire connection, which minimizes stress on tubing and fittings during assembly or maintenance. As a straight compression fitting, it creates a secure, leak-resistant seal with soft tubing when installed according to specification.
Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and square, then slide the compression ring and nut over the tube before inserting the tubing onto the fitting barb. Hand-tighten the compression nut until the fitting secures the tubing; avoid overtightening metal fittings to prevent damage to threads or deformation of tubing. Use the swivel feature to rotate and align the tubing route as needed without unscrewing the connection from the component. Verify all connections for leaks after filling the loop and run a leak test before normal operation.
Install with compatible soft tubing of the recommended inner diameter for compression fittings, inspect O-rings and sealing surfaces periodically, and perform a controlled leak test after assembly. Avoid using excessive force when tightening and use the swivel to position tubing rather than twisting hoses.
