The Philips 5000 series 34B1U5600CH/23 is a 34-inch Wide Quad HD (3440 x 1440) curved LCD monitor with a VA panel that delivers an immersive 21:9 viewing experience. It integrates a built-in USB 3.2 Gen 2 hub with a USB-C downstream port, built-in speakers, VESA compatibility and height adjustment for ergonomic placement. The display offers a 4 ms response time, 350 cd/m² typical brightness and a 3000:1 typical contrast ratio for clear visuals in everyday use.
The monitor combines a wide 34" WQHD curved screen and VA technology for broad viewing angles and good contrast, while the 21:9 aspect ratio supports multitasking and cinematic content. USB-C connectivity and an onboard USB hub simplify data transfer and device connection. Integrated speakers and ergonomic features such as height adjustment and VESA mounting make it suitable for a tidy, adjustable workspace.
Place the monitor on a stable surface or attach it to a VESA-compatible mount. Connect a source device via the USB-C downstream port or other available video input; when using USB-C, you can transmit video and data and, if supported by your laptop, provide power delivery. Adjust height and viewing angle for comfortable ergonomics. Use the built-in USB hub to connect peripherals and the integrated speakers for audio output.
For best image quality, set the source resolution to 3440 x 1440 and use a compatible USB-C or video cable rated for high bandwidth. Position the curved screen so the centre is aligned with your viewing position and adjust brightness to suit ambient light.

Philips displays meet TUV Rheinland Eye Comfort standard to prevent eye strain caused by prolonged computer use. With TUV Eye Comfort certification, Philips displays ensure flicker-free, low-blue mode, no disturbing reflections, a wide viewing angle, less reduction of image quality from different angles and ergonomic stand designs for an ideal viewing experience. PowerSensor is a built-in 'people sensor' that transmits and receives harmless infrared signals to determine if the user is present and then automatically reduces monitor brightness when the user steps away from the desk, cutting energy costs by up to 80 percent and prolonging monitor life.

LightSensor uses a smart sensor to adjust the picture brightness depending on the light conditions in the room for the perfect picture with minimal power usage.

The Philips VA LED display uses an advanced multi-domain vertical alignment technology that gives you super-high static contrast ratios for extra-vivid and bright images. While standard office applications are handled with ease, it is especially suitable for photos, web browsing, films, gaming and demanding graphical applications. Its optimised pixel management technology gives you a 178/178 degree extra-wide viewing angle, resulting in crisp images.

Simplify all peripherals from monitor to PC using one-cable docking USB Type-C connector, including networking, high-resolution video output from PC to monitor, and surfing on the Internet without an additional network cable, even without a LAN port on your notebook. RJ45 connection through USB-C offers a fast and secure connection when needed. Getting the fastest data speeds allows you to transfer data from a HDD to your PC faster than ever. Additionally, USB-C with power delivery can even enable you to power and charge your notebook from the monitor, eliminating the need for extra power cables.

Philips' innovative and secure webcam pops up when you need it and securely tucks back into the monitor when you are not using it. The webcam is also equipped with advanced sensors for Windows Hello facial recognition, which conveniently logs you into your Windows devices in less than 2 seconds, 3 times faster than a password.
