Advantages

The Philips AVENT breast milk storage bags offer exceptional reliability through their reinforced dual-layer construction and secure double zipper seal, which actively prevents any accidental leaks or spills. Pre-sterilized and equipped with a tamper-proof seal, they are ready for immediate use straight from the package without requiring preliminary cleaning. The thoughtful self-standing base and wide opening simplify the processes of filling, pouring, and organizing stored milk efficiently in a refrigerator or freezer.

Suitable for

• Storing expressed breast milk in the refrigerator
• Freezing breast milk for long-term storage
• Direct expression into storage bags with compatible adapters
• Feeding preparation while traveling or away from home

These storage bags are single-use items and may not be suitable for individuals seeking reusable containers or long-term storage solutions beyond standard freezing guidelines. They are specifically optimized for liquid breast milk and should not be used for heating solid foods or boiling liquids in a microwave.

What to consider before purchase

• Verify compatibility with your existing breast pump equipment if expressing directly into the bag
• Assess your daily storage volume needs against the 180 ml capacity per bag
• Consider the single-use nature of the product for your feeding routine
• Check freezer space availability for flat or upright storage arrangements

Usage recommendations: Thaw frozen breast milk slowly in the refrigerator or by placing the bag in a bowl of warm water. Never thaw or heat breast milk in a microwave or boiling water to preserve essential nutrients and prevent hot spots. Always test the temperature of the milk before feeding your baby and discard any leftover milk from a feeding session.
