Description

The Pioneer TS-MR1600 is a 2-way car/marine speaker with 100 W peak and 25 W rated power and a 16 cm (6.5") woofer. Designed with heavy-duty, water- and heat-resistant construction, it provides consistent dynamic sound outdoors and on the water while resisting salt, humidity and sunlight.

Advantages

The speaker uses a water-resistant IMPP composite cone for improved mid-bass response and resistance to salt water and humidity. An elastomer surround helps prevent colour fading or running. The AES (Acrylonitrile-Elastomer Styrene) glass-fibre reinforced basket protects the magnetic circuit, and pure white AES grilles resist yellowing and fading from direct sunlight and heat. Gold tinsel wire and gold-plated terminals reduce corrosion and help maintain clean signal transfer.
