Car media receiver Pioneer DEH-S220UI Black 1 DIN 50 W
The Pioneer DEH-S220UI is a 1-DIN car media receiver in black that plays audio from traditional CDs, FM radio and digital sources. It supports MP3, WMA and WAV files and offers front-panel connection options including an illuminated USB port and an Aux-In for easy hookup of iPod, iPhone, Android smartphones or a USB stick. The single-line LCD with multi-colour illumination and a large rotary commander give clear access to playback information and controls.
This unit provides integrated MOSFET amplification rated at 50 W x 4 for clean, powerful onboard sound and includes two RCA outputs to connect external components such as amplifiers, subwoofers or additional speakers. The front USB and Aux-In support direct playback from mobile devices and USB storage, while compatibility with Spotify and the Pioneer Advanced Remote Control (ARC) app enables convenient smartphone control.
Install the DEH-S220UI into a standard 1-DIN slot in your vehicle following the vehicle and receiver installation guides. For CD playback, insert a disc into the front slot. To play files from a USB stick or connected smartphone, plug the device into the illuminated front USB port; alternatively use the Aux-In for devices with a headphone output. Use the rotary commander and preset buttons to navigate tracks, radio stations and menu options. To expand the system, connect external amplifiers or subwoofers to the RCA outputs and adjust levels from the receiver and any connected equipment.
For best performance, use quality RCA cables when connecting external amplifiers or subwoofers, and ensure the unit is installed with proper grounding. When using smartphone apps such as Spotify or Pioneer ARC, keep your device’s OS and the app updated for compatibility and stable operation.
