Ethernet/Coaxial Transmission Kit OEM EOC-110KIT — 200 m range, 2 units
OEM EOC-110KIT is a two-unit transmission kit designed to carry Ethernet signals over existing coaxial cable infrastructure. The kit supports a link distance of up to 200 m, allowing IP network connectivity to be extended without installing new Ethernet cabling. It is intended for situations where reuse of coaxial cabling is preferred, such as CCTV camera upgrades, building retrofits or installations that require minimal disturbance to walls and conduits.
The kit provides seamless Ethernet-over-coax conversion in a compact, two-unit package, enabling quick deployment without extensive rewiring. It preserves existing coaxial cabling while delivering network throughput suitable for IP video and data devices over medium distances. Installation requires only standard coax connectors and basic power for the units. Its low-profile design makes it suitable for discreet placement in equipment racks, junction boxes or near cameras.
Connect one unit to the Ethernet source (switch or NVR) using an Ethernet cable and attach the coaxial cable to the coax connector. Place the second unit at the remote end, connect the coaxial cable there and attach the Ethernet output to the destination device such as an IP camera or network appliance. Apply power to both units according to the supplied power requirements. Verify link status and, if necessary, check signal continuity on the coax and power supply to ensure stable operation.
For reliable performance, use good-quality, continuous coaxial cable runs without excessive damage or multiple connectors. Confirm connector types and grounding practices for the installation environment. For distances approaching 200 m, test bandwidth and latency with the intended devices to ensure the link meets performance needs.
