Network transmitter PLANET IPOE-E302

The PLANET IPOE-E302 is an outdoor-rated network transmitter that extends Gigabit Ethernet data and PoE power beyond the standard 100 m limit. Housed in an IP67 aluminum case, this 1-port 802.3bt PoE++ to 2-port 802.3bt/at Gigabit PoE Extender accepts up to 95 W from an 802.3bt PoE++ or PoH input and provides a combined PoE budget of up to 65 W across two output ports. It is intended for point-to-multipoint deployments where adding PoE ports without extra cabling and avoiding external power adapters is required.

How to use

Install the IPOE-E302 inline between a power source equipment (PSE) — such as an 802.3bt PoE++ switch or PoH source — and downstream powered devices (PD). Connect the PSE to the single "PoE+ In" RJ45 port and connect up to two PoE devices to the two "PoE++ Out" RJ45 ports using Cat5/5e/6 cable. Fit the waterproof cable glands and shielded plugs for outdoor deployments to maintain IP67 protection. The device requires no configuration and begins supplying data and power automatically after connection.

Usage recommendations

Use Cat5e or Cat6 cabling in good condition, keep cable runs within the extended 200 m design limit per the installation scenario, and ensure the upstream PSE can supply sufficient 802.3bt/PoH power to deliver the required output budget to connected PoE devices.
