PLANET LRP-111U-KIT is a Long Reach PoE network transmitter and receiver pair designed to extend Ethernet data and power beyond the standard 100 m limit. Packaged in a blue metal housing with compact dimensions (30 × 70 × 104 mm) and options for desk or wall mounting, the kit provides point-to-point extension of Ethernet and 802.3at/bt PoE to remote devices. The kit comprises an injector unit and an extender unit that work together to deliver both data and power to a remote PoE powered device over extended UTP/STP cabling.

How to use

Install the injector (LRP-111UH) near your power source and connect it to your network switch or router via the 10/100TX Ethernet port. Run UTP/STP cabling to the remote extender unit (LRP-111UE) up to the supported maximum distance. Connect the extender output to the PoE powered device with a standard Ethernet cable; the extender will deliver data and up to 60 W of PoE power to the PD. Mount each unit on a desk, wall, or DIN rail as needed and verify operation using the front-panel LEDs. No additional configuration is required for standard plug-and-play operation.

Usage recommendations

Use quality UTP or STP cabling and proper cable routing to minimize interference and maintain link stability over long distances. For outdoor or exposed installations, place the units in appropriate weatherproof enclosures and observe grounding best practices.
