Platinet PCCA3 Jump Start Cables 3m 500A for 12V and 24V Vehicles
The Platinet PCCA3 jump start cables are engineered to provide a safe, rapid, and efficient way to revive a dead battery. Featuring heavy-duty 30 mm² aluminium conductors, these booster cables deliver a stable electrical current up to 500 A. This makes them highly dependable for starting gasoline and diesel vehicles, including passenger cars, vans, and light commercial vehicles.
Equipped with robust, fully insulated spring clamps in distinct red and black colors, these cables ensure clear polarity identification and significantly reduce the risk of accidental short circuits. The frost-resistant and oil-resistant insulation guarantees that the cables remain flexible and easy to handle even under sub-zero winter temperatures, giving you optimal roadside assistance whenever you need it.
With a practical 3-meter length, these tangle-free booster cables allow for convenient vehicle positioning without requiring the cars to be parked dangerously close. They are fully compatible with both 12V and 24V electrical systems. The complete set comes neatly packed in a durable, zipped storage bag with a carrying handle, making it a compact and essential addition to any emergency vehicle kit.
These jump start cables offer exceptional durability thanks to their high-quality aluminium conductors designed to handle high current loads. The insulation material is specifically formulated to resist cracking in extreme cold and is impervious to oil and grease, ensuring longevity in harsh automotive environments. The ergonomic design of the clamps provides a secure grip on battery terminals, while the color-coded handles simplify the connection process for users of all experience levels.
These cables are not intended for heavy-duty industrial machinery or large trucks that require significantly higher amperage than 500A for engine cranking. They should not be used on vehicles with damaged or corroded battery terminals that prevent a secure electrical connection.
To use the cables, first ensure both vehicles are turned off and in neutral or park. Connect the red clamp to the positive terminal of the dead battery, then connect the other end of the red cable to the positive terminal of the donor battery. Connect the black clamp to the negative terminal of the donor battery, and finally, attach the remaining black clamp to a solid, unpainted metal part of the engine block of the vehicle with the dead battery. Start the donor vehicle and let it run for a few minutes before attempting to start the vehicle with the dead battery. Once started, remove the cables in the exact reverse order.
Usage recommendations: Always inspect the cables for any signs of wear or insulation damage before each use. Store the cables in the provided bag in a dry place to maintain their condition and prevent moisture buildup.
