Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE is a high-resolution film and slide scanner with an optical resolution of 7200 x 7200 dpi, CCD sensor and LED illumination. It includes a built-in infrared channel to detect dust and scratches on negatives and slides, allowing defect removal without manual retouching. The scanner supports a maximum film frame size of 36.8 x 25.4 mm and records up to 48-bit color depth via USB 2.0 connectivity in a compact black housing.

How to use

Install the bundled SilverFast 8 software and connect the Plustek OpticFilm 8200i SE to a computer via USB 2.0. Place negatives or slides into the appropriate film holder and insert it into the scanner. Use the preview mode to frame the image, then apply automatic or manual adjustments in SilverFast.
