Install the Plustek OpticFilm 8200i Ai software (SilverFast 8) supplied with the scanner and connect the device to a compatible computer using the recommended power supply. Place the film or slide into the appropriate holder, preview the image in SilverFast, and apply desired corrections such as Multi-Exposure® or iSRD® for dust and scratch removal. Use the Auto IT8 Calibration® with the included IT8 calibration slide to calibrate color before batch scans for consistent results.
