How to use

Clean both contacting surfaces with isopropyl alcohol and a lint-free cloth to remove old compound, dust and oils. Apply a small, pea-sized dot or a thin line of Polartherm X-8 to the centre of the chip. Install the heatsink and apply even mounting pressure to spread the paste into a thin, continuous layer. If disassembling again later, remove residue with alcohol and reapply fresh thermal paste following the same steps.

Usage recommendations

Use sparingly: a thin, even layer provides the best thermal performance. Avoid electrically conductive materials contact with exposed circuits; use appropriate precautions during application. Store the tube capped in a cool, dry place and keep out of reach of children.
