Pool filter cartridge Polgar PG671064 for pool pumps, flow 1136 l/h
The Polgar PG671064 pool filter cartridge is a replacement cartridge designed for use with compatible pool pumps. With a rated flow of 1136 l/h, this cartridge captures debris and suspended particles from circulating pool water to reduce strain on the pump and help maintain clearer water. It is intended for routine maintenance and cartridge replacement in above-ground pools and smaller inground filtration setups where a compact cartridge element is required.
The cartridge uses pleated filtration material to provide a relatively large surface area for trapping sand, hair, leaves and other fine debris while maintaining steady flow. Its standard cylindrical form factor and end-cap design enable straightforward installation in many common cartridge housings. The rated flow of 1136 l/h balances filtration efficiency with consistent circulation, supporting normal pump operation without excessive pressure drop.
Turn off the pool pump and close any valves to isolate the filter housing before attempting replacement. Open the cartridge housing according to the pump or filter manufacturer's instructions, remove the old cartridge, and inspect the housing for debris. Install the Polgar PG671064 cartridge ensuring proper orientation and secure seating of end caps. Reassemble the housing, reopen valves, and restart the pump while checking for leaks and normal flow. Backwash is not applicable for cartridge filters; periodic manual rinsing with a hose or soaking in a manufacturer-recommended cleaning solution is advised to restore flow and extend service life.
Regularly inspect the cartridge and clean when visible debris or reduced flow is observed. Replace the cartridge when pleats are damaged, severely stained, or when cleaning no longer restores acceptable flow. Follow the pool pump and filter housing manufacturer's instructions for safe handling and proper seating to prevent leaks and maintain filtration performance.
