PLA 3D Printer Filament Poly PolyTerra 1.75 mm 1 kg – Mint
PolyTerra PLA filament by Poly is a 1.75 mm, 1 kg spool of biodegradable polylactic acid in a mint color, designed for use with FDM/FFF desktop 3D printers that accept 1.75 mm filament. The material is dimensionally consistent and formulated for ease of printing with standard PLA temperature ranges, offering predictable flow and good layer adhesion for prototyping, hobby models and decorative parts.
PolyTerra PLA is biodegradable under industrial composting conditions and formulated to reduce warping and stringing compared with some generic PLA grades. The filament is produced with tight diameter tolerance for stable extrusion and consistent layer lines. Its mint color provides an even, smooth finish suitable for visible parts and display models. The material prints on unheated beds for many geometries but also performs well with a heated bed when stronger adhesion is needed.
Load the 1.75 mm PolyTerra PLA filament into a compatible extruder, ensuring the spool feeds smoothly and the filament path is free from dust and tangles. Set the extruder nozzle temperature within the manufacturer’s recommended PLA range (typically 190–220°C) and select bed conditions based on the part size and geometry; many small parts print well on unheated or mildly heated beds, while larger or flat parts may benefit from a heated bed and adhesion aid. Use moderate print speeds and retraction settings to minimize stringing, and perform a small test print to fine-tune temperature and extrusion multiplier for best surface finish and dimensional accuracy.
Store the spool in a dry, sealed container or desiccant bag to preserve printability. Dry the filament before printing if it has absorbed moisture (typical drying is 40–50°C for a few hours). Keep spare spools away from direct sunlight and high humidity to maintain consistent printing performance.
