Polymaker PolyLite™ PLA Pro Metallic Silver is a 1.75 mm PLA filament formulated to combine high rigidity with elevated impact strength while keeping the easy printability of standard PLA. Supplied in a metallic silver color and 1 kg spool, this material is intended for reliable, dimensionally accurate parts with a smooth, silk-like surface finish in the case of the silver variant.

The metallic silver version provides the same mechanical performance as other PLA Pro colors but with a smoother, silk-like appearance. How to use

Print PolyLite™ PLA Pro on standard FDM/FFF 3D printers using a nozzle temperature between 190 °C and 220 °C and a heated bed set between 30 °C and 60 °C. Recommended print speeds range from 30 mm/s to 70 mm/s with cooling fan on. For direct-drive extruders use approximately 1 mm retraction at 30 mm/s; for Bowden/indirect-drive setups use approximately 3 mm retraction at 60 mm/s. These settings provide a starting point—adjust temperatures and speeds based on your printer and part geometry.

Usage recommendations

Store the filament dry and sealed to avoid moisture uptake. If the filament has absorbed moisture, dry at 55 °C for about 6 hours before printing. Use the metallic silver PLA Pro when you need a smoother, silk-like surface without sacrificing mechanical performance.
