Description

The PowerWalker VI 850 SE/IEC is a Line-Interactive uninterruptible power supply (UPS) with 0.85 kVA (850 VA) capacity and 480 W output power. Designed as a compact mini-tower, it provides automatic voltage regulation (AVR), cold-start capability and a USB monitoring interface. The unit includes four IEC AC outlets, RJ-11 surge protection (in/out) and a 9 Ah battery to deliver short-term backup and protect sensitive home and office equipment from voltage fluctuations.

Advantages

The Line-Interactive design with AVR corrects voltage sags and surges without switching to battery, which reduces battery wear and extends battery lifetime while keeping connected devices within safe voltage limits. When voltage moves outside the AVR correction range, the UPS switches to battery mode immediately to prevent data loss or hardware damage. A USB (and RS-232 compatible) monitoring port provides status information on voltage, power and battery, and the compact black mini-tower housing occupies minimal desk or rack-adjacent space.

How to use

Place the UPS on a stable, well-ventilated surface near the devices to be protected and the mains outlet. Connect equipment to the four IEC outlets and plug the UPS into mains power. Use the USB port to connect to a computer for monitoring and to enable safe shutdown or logging features through compatible software. In case of mains failure or voltage outside the AVR range the UPS will supply battery power automatically; when mains is restored the unit will recharge the internal battery.

Usage recommendations

For optimal performance, do not overload the UPS—keep total connected load below the rated 480 W. Position the UPS away from heat sources and moisture, and perform periodic battery checks or replacement according to the manufacturer’s schedule to ensure reliable backup when needed.
