Voltage Regulator PowerWalker AVR 1500 SIV FR
The PowerWalker AVR 1500 SIV FR is an automatic voltage regulator designed to stabilise mains voltage for connected equipment. With selectable input ranges (150–270 VAC or wide 110–280 VAC) it keeps output voltage within ±10% (approximately 207–253 VAC) using boost and buck correction stages. The unit includes a thermal sensor for over-temperature protection and recovery, a protection delay function (10 s or configurable up to 3 min) and an LCD for status monitoring. Rated output power is 1.5 kVA (1200 W) with two AC outlets and an efficiency of about 95%, suitable for protecting sensitive electronics from voltage fluctuations and surges.
The AVR provides automatic boost and buck correction across several input ranges, offering continuous output regulation without user intervention. It supports a selectable narrow or wide input window, includes an internal thermal sensor for automatic over-temperature shutdown and recovery, and features a configurable protection delay to accommodate less sensitive loads. The unit’s compact design, 2 AC outlets and a 312 J surge energy rating make it practical for small server, network or office equipment applications.
Install the AVR on a stable, well-ventilated surface and connect it to the mains supply. Select the required input range (normal 150–270 VAC or wide 110–280 VAC) according to local mains conditions. Plug the protected devices into the AC outlets. The AVR will automatically enter buck, normal or boost modes depending on input voltage: buck for high input (approx. 252–270/280 V), normal for 207–252 V, first boost for 173–211 V (+20%) and second boost for 110/150–178 V (+40%). If input voltage falls below the selected minimum (below 110 V in wide mode or below 150 V in normal mode) the AVR will switch off output to protect the load.
Use the protection delay function when connecting devices that are sensitive to short power interruptions; set delay between 10 seconds and 3 minutes as needed. Avoid placing the unit in confined spaces without ventilation and ensure connected loads do not exceed the 1200 W rating.
