PREMIUMCORD khext100-2 HDMI extender transmits HDMI video and audio over a single Cat5e/Cat6 cable up to 100 m. The kit consists of a transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) and supports resolutions up to 4K@30Hz as well as Full HD 1080p, enabling distribution of a source signal to a remote display without long HDMI cables. How to use

Connect the HDMI source to the transmitter HDMI input and the remote display to the receiver HDMI output using HDMI cables (up to 10 m recommended, AWG26 for 7–10 m). Link TX and RX directly with a single uninterrupted Cat5e/Cat6 cable of recommended minimum conductor size AWG24. Do not connect the units through an active network device (switch, router or other Ethernet equipment). Power both units with the supplied 5V/1A adapters. Use the EDID button to toggle output resolution between Full HD 1080p and 4K@30Hz; monitor the blue/red LEDs for power and active signal indication.

Usage recommendations

Use a direct, continuous Cat5e/Cat6 cable with solid copper conductors (minimum AWG24) and avoid routing the extender link through any active Ethernet network device. For HDMI cable runs to/from the units, use high-quality HDMI cables and keep them up to 10 m, using AWG26-rated cables for the longest HDMI runs.
