The Wearable bar code reader ProGlove MARK 2 is a lightweight, wrist- or glove-mounted scanner designed to speed up barcode capture in hands-busy workflows. The device supports both 1D and 2D barcode formats and communicates wirelessly via Bluetooth operating in the 915 MHz band. With a battery-powered design and a weight of 42.5 g, the ProGlove MARK 2 is intended for extended use while keeping the scanner unobtrusive and visible thanks to its orange housing.
The ProGlove MARK 2 combines compact form factor and low weight to reduce user fatigue during repetitive scanning tasks. Its support for 1D and 2D codes allows compatibility with a wide range of barcode types used in warehouses, logistics and manufacturing. Wireless Bluetooth connectivity enables flexible placement and easy integration into existing workflows without the need for tethered cables. The battery operation removes dependence on external power during shifts, while the bright orange colour increases device visibility for quick identification.
Attach the ProGlove MARK 2 to a glove, wrist strap or mounting accessory according to the manufacturer’s instructions, and ensure the device is charged before use. Pair the scanner to a host device using Bluetooth in the 915 MHz band following the host’s Bluetooth pairing procedure. Aim the scanner at the barcode at a comfortable distance and trigger the scan; scanned data will transmit wirelessly to the paired system. Charge the battery between shifts or as indicated by the device status indicators to maintain uninterrupted operation.
Operate the ProGlove MARK 2 in accordance with workplace safety rules and the manufacturer’s user manual. For reliable scanning, keep the scanner window clean and ensure barcodes are sufficiently illuminated and unobstructed.
