Supplied in a small syringe-style tube, the PK-1 paste fills microscopic surface irregularities to create a thin, continuous thermal interface that reduces thermal resistance and helps maintain lower component temperatures. The formula is designed for long-term stability and low dry-out, making it suitable for regular desktop and workstation cooling applications where consistent thermal performance is required.
PK-1 offers long-term stability and low dry-out while remaining non-electrically conductive and non-corrosive. The paste is easy to apply and requires only a small amount to achieve effective contact between the chip and heatsink. In comparative tests, the compound demonstrates competitive thermal performance versus other major brands and retains reliable heat transfer over time.
Ensure both the chip and heatsink surfaces are clean and free of old thermal material, dust and oils before application. Apply a small, pea-sized amount of PK-1 to the center of the processor or follow the thin-line method appropriate for your cooler contact area.
