Hole saw Proline 26400, diameter 6.4 cm, 1 piece
Proline 26400 is a single-piece hole saw with a 6.4 cm (64 mm) cutting diameter, designed to create circular openings in materials such as gypsumboard, plywood, wood and plastic panels. The tool is intended for use with compatible drill drivers and arbor adapters and is suitable for DIY and light professional installation tasks where a compact, easy-to-mount hole saw is required.
The hole saw offers a precise 64 mm cutting diameter and compact single-piece construction that simplifies mounting and handling. Its design enables reliable cutting in common building materials including gypsumboard and various woods, while the single-unit format reduces setup time. The saw is compatible with standard drill drivers and arbor adapters, providing practical flexibility for different job sites and tasks.
Install the hole saw onto a compatible arbor or adapter and secure it to the drill driver per the arbor manufacturer’s instructions. Mark the centre of the required opening and position the pilot point (if present) to stabilise the saw. Start drilling at low speed to establish the cut, then increase speed steadily while applying moderate, even pressure. Remove cut material and clear debris periodically to maintain cutting efficiency. After cutting, deburr the edge of the opening as needed for a clean finish.
Use suitable personal protective equipment such as eye protection and gloves. For thin or fragile materials, support the workpiece from behind to reduce splintering. Select an arbor and pilot bit appropriate for the drill and material, and avoid excessive side load on the hole saw to prolong its service life.
