The Proline Tools 41242 glue & paint roller is a compact roller designed for applying a range of solvent-based and adhesive coatings. It features a short-pile nap of 7 mm that provides even coverage with controlled texture, and a lightweight short handle built around a Ø 6 mm steel wire for reliable support and maneuverability. The roller sleeve is made to resist solvents commonly found in industrial and maintenance paints.
The 7 mm short pile delivers a smooth finish on metal and primed surfaces while minimising splatter and overspray. Solvent-resistant construction extends the sleeve life when used with nitro-oil, chlorinated rubber, polyvinyl, anticorrosion, primer, and two-component systems. The short, lightweight handle gives better control in tight spaces and reduces operator fatigue during precision work.
Fit the roller sleeve securely onto the frame and ensure the steel wire is seated into the handle core. Prepare surfaces according to the paint manufacturer's instructions: clean, degrease and, if required, sand and prime. Load the roller evenly with paint and apply using smooth, overlapping passes to achieve uniform coverage. After use, clean the roller sleeve with an appropriate solvent recommended for the coating used, or follow the manufacturer's cleaning instructions for two-component systems.
For best results, test the roller on a small area to confirm compatibility with the chosen coating. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and follow ventilation guidelines when working with solvent-based or two-component paints.
