Prosperplast Splofy Bowl DKSP370-S433 — 37 cm diameter, plastic is a round, bowl-style flower pot designed for both indoor and outdoor planting. Manufactured from lightweight plastic, the planter accommodates flowers, herbs and small decorative plants and is suitable for use on balconies, terraces, patios and windowsills. Its simple shape and neutral finish make it compatible with a variety of planting schemes and container arrangements.
The Splofy Bowl is lightweight for easy repositioning and handling, which simplifies seasonal changes and container maintenance. Plastic construction offers resistance to cracking and chipping compared with ceramic alternatives and requires minimal upkeep. The wide bowl shape gives ample root space for shallow to medium-rooted plants and allows for efficient arrangement of multiple specimens in one container.
This plastic bowl may not provide sufficient insulation for very large or deep-rooted shrubs that require greater soil volume and structural support. In very sunny, hot climates the surface may heat more than heavier materials, which can increase soil temperature and moisture loss unless irrigation and shading are managed.
Place the Splofy Bowl on a stable, level surface. If used outdoors, ensure adequate drainage either via existing drainage holes or by adding a layer of coarse material at the bottom and drilling holes if necessary. Fill with an appropriate potting mix for the chosen plants, leaving a small gap to the rim for watering. Position plants and firm the substrate lightly to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting and monitor moisture levels; plastic containers can retain moisture but also warm quickly in direct sun, so adjust watering accordingly.
For mixed displays, use a well-draining potting soil and combine a center specimen with lower-growing edge plants to maximize visual impact. In hot sun, provide occasional shading or select drought-tolerant species to reduce watering frequency.
