The PureTools PT-C-HDAEDE is a 4K 18Gbps HDMI Audio De-Embedder and Embedder that supports full HDMI 2.0 bandwidth and can output HDMI audio in both digital and analog formats. It accepts an analog input (Line / Mic / Mic with 48V phantom power) which can be embedded and mixed with HDMI audio or used to replace it. The unit includes an integrated downscaler to convert 4K signals to Full HD (1080p) and supports ARC for reverse audio transmission. Compact and designed for professional and home-cinema use, the PT-C-HDAEDE provides flexible audio routing for complex installations.

Advantages

The PT-C-HDAEDE supports HDMI v2.0 features including HDR, DeepColor 12-bit and HDCP 2.2, and handles digital audio up to LPCM 7.1 / 24bit / 96 kHz as well as Dolby Atmos and DTS-X. It offers both S/PDIF coaxial and balanced analog connections for de-embedding, a separate analogue connector for embedding, front-panel controls for mixing behaviour via four DIP switches, a three-position toggle for selecting Line / Mic / Mic 48V input formats, and volume buttons for analog input adjustment in 1 dB steps from -18 dB to +24 dB. Firmware updates are possible via Micro-USB and the screwable 5V/1A power connector plus power LED make it suitable for professional installations.

How to use

Connect an HDMI source to the HDMI input and a display to the HDMI output; ARC signals are supported in reverse. Use the analog 3-pin Phoenix connector to feed a microphone or line-level source if embedding or mixing is required; set the input type with the front-panel toggle (Line / Mic / Mic 48V). Select the desired audio routing and output formats by configuring the four DIP switches on the front panel. Adjust the analog input level with the two front-panel volume buttons in 1 dB steps.
