Powered by Intel® Xeon® E5 processors and running the QES operating system based on FreeBSD and ZFS, this 3U chassis supports up to 16 drives (HDD and SSD), dual active controllers, and enterprise features such as block-level deduplication, near‑limitless snapshots and thin provisioning. With no drives preinstalled, the unit is suitable for custom storage configurations and can be expanded via external JBOD enclosures to support large-capacity deployments.
