The TS-h973AX is a 9-bay QuTS hero NAS designed for business use, powered by an AMD Ryzen Embedded V1000 series V1500B quad-core processor and supporting up to 10GbE/2.5GbE networking. It combines five 3.5" SATA 6Gbps drive bays, two 2.5" U.2 NVMe/SATA-compatible slots and two 2.5" SATA SSD slots to create a high-capacity hybrid storage system. The ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system provides data integrity features, inline data reduction, multi-level caching and enterprise-class backup and virtualization support.

Configure QuTS hero via the Storage & Snapshots Manager to set up pools, enable SSD cache, inline deduplication and snapshots. Connect the NAS to your network using the 10GBASE-T and 2.5GbE ports; configure port trunking or failover as needed. Deploy Virtualization Station or Container Station to run VMs and containers, and use HybridMount or cloud backup apps to integrate cloud storage. For expansion, attach TR-series USB enclosures and manage them in the Storage & Snapshots Manager.
