Qoltec Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS Line Interactive Monolith is a compact UPS designed to maintain stable operation of connected computers and related devices during power disturbances. It features Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR), cold start capability, an LCD display and interfaces for USB and RJ45 protection. The unit provides 450 VA (240 W) output and includes one maintenance-free battery with a recharge time to 90% of up to 6 hours.
The UPS offers automatic voltage regulation that corrects under- and over-voltage without switching to battery, helping to extend battery life. Cold start allows powering a connected device directly from the UPS when mains power is absent. A modified (approximated) sine wave output is suitable for computers and most data-processing equipment, while the LCD provides clear real-time status and parameter information. Built-in protections cover overload, deep discharge and overcharge, and the RJ45 port adds surge protection for LAN connections.
Connect the UPS to mains power and allow the internal battery to charge. Attach your computer and other devices to the UPS output sockets and connect the USB port to a PC if you require power management and monitoring. If mains voltage falls outside acceptable limits, the AVR will regulate the voltage automatically; when mains fails, the UPS will supply power from the battery. Use the LCD to monitor status and battery level. In the event of a complete mains outage you can use the cold start function to start a connected device directly from the UPS. Follow the user manual for safe installation, ventilation clearance and battery replacement procedures.
Place the UPS in a dry, well-ventilated area away from direct heat sources. Regularly check battery condition and perform testing of the UPS under load to verify expected runtime. Use the included USB power management software to configure safe shutdown and monitoring settings for connected computers.
