The Disk Array Tower RaidSonic IB-3640SU3 combines an aluminium housing, temperature-controlled fan and trayless EasySwap® design to offer tool-free installation and quiet cooling. Each drive is addressed individually (JBOD) and the unit supports Windows XP/Vista/7 and Mac OS X while providing power-saving standby and per-drive activity indicators.

Install 3.5" SATA hard drives into the enclosure using the trayless EasySwap® mechanism — no tools required. Connect the enclosure to your host system via USB 3.0 or eSATA depending on available ports. Each installed drive will appear as an individual volume (JBOD). The fan operates automatically based on internal temperature; fan presets can be changed if manual control is desired. When the host cable is disconnected or the device is idle, the enclosure enters standby to save power.
