For 2.5" HDDs or SSDs, place each drive into a 2.5" slot — the self-adjusting tab will lock 7 mm–9.5 mm drives without the need for tools or screws. If installing a 3.5" device without front I/O, remove the rear plate and insert it into the front panel slot to avoid an exposed opening.
