How to use

Install the MB411SKO-B into a compatible slim ODD bay by sliding the unit into the 12.7mm slot and securing as required by your system. To install in a slim FDD bay, remove the metal ODD bracket by unscrewing the three bracket screws and then fit the enclosure into the available FDD space. Insert a 7–9.5mm 2.5" SATA or SAS drive into the EZ Slide Micro tray, close the latch to engage the eagle-hook lock, and connect the 7-pin SATA cable; the locking latches on the cable will secure the connection. Use the front LED to monitor drive activity. For hot-swap maintenance, unlock and slide out the tray to replace the drive while the system supports hot-swap operations.

Usage recommendations

Use drives within the supported 7–9.5mm height range; ensure the host system supports hot-swap if replacing drives while powered. Remove the ODD bracket only when installing in an FDD bay and retain screws for future reinstallation.
