How to use

Install the MB994IKO-3SB into a single external 5.25" drive bay and connect the dual 4-pin power leads and SATA/SAS data cables to the host system. Insert 2.5" drives into the EZ Slide Mini Trays and slide them into the bay until the tray locks engage; use the individual key locks to secure each tray if required. Insert a compatible 12.7 mm slim ODD into the EZ-ODD Tray or remove the tray with the provided key or side latch for service access. Use the fan switch to enable or disable cooling depending on drive type and operating conditions.

Usage recommendations

For best thermal performance, enable the 40 mm fan when using 2.5" mechanical HDDs or SAS drives operating at high rotational speeds. If only SSDs are installed, the fan can be turned off to reduce noise. Secure drive trays with the included keys in environments requiring physical protection or mobile operation.
