The Icy Dock ToughArmor MB994SK-1B is a 5.25" drive bay panel that holds four 2.5" SAS/SATA HDDs or SSDs (7mm–15mm). Built with full metal construction and dual 40mm cooling fans, it supports hot-swap drive replacement and is designed for demanding environments such as medical, military, industrial PCs, servers, and embedded systems. Each bay features an individual steel lock integrated into the EZ Slide Mini tray for added physical security, and the enclosure supports both SATA (6 Gbps) and single-channel SAS interfaces.

Advantages

The enclosure provides robust physical protection and heat dissipation thanks to its heavy-duty full metal design that also helps meet flammability requirements. Individual steel locking mechanisms on each EZ Slide Mini tray add an extra layer of security, while the trays remain backward compatible with other ToughArmor EZ Slide Mini systems.
