The ToughArmor MB996SK-6SB is a rugged full-metal 5.25" drive enclosure that holds up to six 9.5 mm hard drives or SSDs. Designed for environments that require physical data protection, it provides individual metal key-lock trays, LED status indicators, an anti-vibration mechanism and a user-adjustable cooling fan. The compact single 5.25" bay form factor makes it suitable for servers, workstations, mobile systems and other applications that need secure, high-density storage in limited space.

Advantages

The enclosure offers individual metal locking mechanisms for each bay to control physical access, a durable full-metal construction for increased resilience in harsh conditions, and active cooling with a 40 mm fan that can be set to high, low, or off. Metal trays with ventilation holes, Active Power Technology (APT) to power LEDs and fan only when a drive is inserted, and an anti-vibration design further protect drives and data. Two power adapters (4-pin Molex to 15-pin SATA) are included to improve compatibility with various systems.
