Universal Marine Electronic Ball RAM Mounts RAM-B-111BU
The RAM-B-111BU Universal Marine Electronic Ball is a mount consisting of a 1" (2.54 cm) diameter rubber ball attached to a flat rectangular base measuring 6.25" x 2". The base is manufactured from aluminum with a black finish for corrosion resistance, making the mount suitable for use in marine environments. The base includes multiple pre-drilled hole patterns to accept a variety of electronic devices and mounting brackets.
The combination of a rubber ball and aluminum base provides vibration damping with durable structural support. The black corrosion-resistant finish extends service life in saltwater exposure. Multiple pre-drilled hole patterns on the base allow compatibility with Marine GPS units, CB radios, ham radio equipment, gimbal brackets and other electronics commonly used on boats.
Attach the base to a flat mounting surface using appropriate fasteners through the pre-drilled holes that match your device or bracket. Fit the corresponding RAM socket or cradle onto the 1" rubber ball to secure the device; adjust ball orientation for desired viewing angle and tighten the socket or clamp per the socket manufacturer's instructions. Inspect fasteners and connections periodically for corrosion or loosening in marine conditions.
Use stainless steel fasteners and thread-locking compound where appropriate to minimize corrosion and loosening. Verify that the selected cradle or socket is designed to mate with a 1" RAM ball for secure attachment.
