Cavity Coupler Rangeful CC7 698–2700 MHz N-Female — 7 dB
Cavity Coupler Rangeful CC7 698–2700 MHz N-Female — 7 dB
The Rangeful CC7 7 dB cavity coupler is a compact N‑female connectorized device for unequal distribution of RF signals across 698–2700 MHz. It provides a fixed 7 dB coupling so the side output receives a signal approximately five times weaker than the main line. The unit is suitable for mobile communication bands (GSM, 3G, 4G) and can be used in base stations, repeaters, monitoring and antenna distribution systems where controlled signal division is required.
The CC7 offers stable coupling over a wide frequency range (698–2700 MHz) with an N‑female connector for easy integration into existing RF installations. Its fixed 7 dB attenuation on the side port enables predictable signal levels, helping to balance coverage between branches. The compact, connectorized design simplifies installation in confined environments and in test or monitoring setups.
Connect the main feed line to the main port and attach the secondary antenna or device to the side port with the N‑female connectors. Ensure connectors and cables are properly tightened and match impedance (50 Ω) to avoid reflections. Mount the coupler in a location protected from moisture and excessive mechanical stress. Verify signal levels with appropriate test equipment and adjust branch connections as needed to obtain the desired coverage balance.
Use the CC7 when predictable unequal splitting is needed: route the stronger main output to larger coverage areas and the 7 dB attenuated side output to smaller rooms or shorter runs. For long cable runs, consider compensating cable loss by placing the higher-power leg on the longer feed. Perform level measurements after installation to confirm balanced coverage and to ensure connectors and cables are matched and secure.
