Privacy screen protector Renkforce RF-6026104 for Apple iMac 24" Retina 4.5K, max screen 61 cm, 58% light transmission, 1 pc
Renkforce RF-6026104 is a privacy screen protector designed specifically for Apple iMac 24" Retina 4.5K displays with a maximum diagonal of 61 cm. The film limits lateral viewing angles to keep on-screen information visible only to the person directly in front of the display while maintaining image clarity through 58% light transmission. Supplied as a single sheet, this privacy filter combines screen protection and reduced glare with blue light attenuation suitable for office or home environments where visual privacy is required.
The privacy protector narrows the viewing angle to prevent side glances, protecting sensitive content from bystanders. With 58% light transmission, it preserves contrast and colour fidelity on the Retina display while slightly reducing overall brightness to minimise reflections. The built-in blue light protection lowers short-wave blue light exposure, helping reduce eye strain during prolonged use. The single-sheet design is easy to handle and can be applied or removed without permanent changes to the monitor.
Clean the iMac screen thoroughly with a lint-free cloth and the supplied cleaning materials or a suitable screen cleaner to remove dust and fingerprints. Align the privacy protector with the display edges, then apply it from one side to the other to minimise air bubbles. Smooth the surface gently with a soft squeegee or cloth until fully adhered. To remove, lift a corner and peel off slowly; if residue remains, clean the screen with a suitable cleaner. Reapply only when the screen and protector are clean and dry.
For best results, use the privacy protector in well-lit indoor environments and avoid direct sunlight on the display. Adjust the display brightness to compensate for the 58% light transmission if necessary. Store the sheet flat when not in use and avoid folding or creasing to preserve optical performance.
