Description

Riello Vision Dual 2200 is a 2.2 kVA (1980 W) uninterruptible power supply designed for rackmount or tower installation. It provides nine AC outlets in C13 and C19 formats and uses a C20 input connector. The unit offers a compact black housing (450 × 625 × 87 mm), an output power factor of 0.9 and can reach an operating efficiency up to 98%. Vision Dual is intended to protect servers, network hardware, storage systems and workstations against mains disturbances and power failures.

Advantages

Vision Dual integrates Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) and EMI filtering to stabilise incoming voltage and reduce the impact of sags, surges and electromagnetic interference. When mains power fails the inverter supplies a true sinewave output for reliable continuity. The design supports hot-swappable batteries, predictive battery testing and optional external battery boxes for extended run times. A removable front-panel display and selectable rack or tower installation increase installation flexibility.

How to use

Install the UPS either in a 19" rack or place it on the floor in tower orientation according to available space and ventilation requirements. Connect the mains supply to the C20 input and plug critical equipment into the C13/C19 outlets. Configure load prioritisation using the EnergyShare output for non-critical loads to extend autonomy for essential devices. The front-panel display can be rotated or removed for easier visibility depending on mounting orientation.

Usage recommendations

Perform regular battery checks and predictive battery tests to detect deterioration. Keep ventilation clear around the unit, replace batteries following manufacturer guidelines, and use external battery boxes for longer back-up times if required.
